When the band played through "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" it was unanimously decided that it would be perfect for the Fireside repertoire. Jesse had been playing the song for his daughter and decided it might be worth bringing to the band. In addition, we began working on a new cover that was a little outside of the box for the band. During these sessions, a handful of new tunes were written and arranged. A year after the global shutdown of 2020, the band decided to head to a cabin in the hills of Carolina. This will be the first cover the band has recorded in the studio and we couldn't be happier to share it with the world. We are so excited to release our new single, "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," with music by Sir Elton John and lyrics by Bernie Taupin.
